L'Idiot Utile Issue 1 (2024)

This dress was created in collaboration with photographer Hubert Crabières, fashion designer Wataru Tominaga, creator Elsa Dupland, and myself. The idea behind the project was for each person to carry out a part of the creation process without consulting the others too much. Hubert took the photographs, Wataru turned them into a print, I designed the patterns and muslins for the dress, and Elsa then sewed the printed dress.

The dress is made of multiple rectangular panels, allowing interaction with the wearer's movement, revealing some images at times while hiding others. This piece was commissioned for Issue No. 1 of L'Idiot Utile, a project for which I work as both artistic director and stylist.
