This work runs parallel to my styling practice. For editorials, campaigns, shootings for the magazine L'Idiot Utile, advertisements, or just for fun, I've gotten into the habit of preparing each look flat on the table in my studio. Even before trying it on a body, the silhouette exists autonomously, simply by being laid out on a table.

This series of images, which was initially just a preparatory step, is part of the ongoing exploration in my work that questions the status of the unworn garment. This reflection on absence leads to imagining emptiness as a potential body, and simply by arranging garments in a certain way, by folding a sleeve or slightly curling a pair of trousers, it suddenly feels as though the clothing comes to life.

Each look is made from second-hand pieces, my own clothes or creations, and garments borrowed from various theater costume stocks or young designers.
